Steven Soderbergh’s Side Effects Get’s A UK Trailer

Nothing better than a Steven Soderbergh film to perk up a cinematic year , a year which is looking likely to be his swansong year before he enters his much publicised Film hiatus. With the American release only a few weeks away its the turn UK promotion and tonight we have the official UK trailer  for  psycho-pharmaceutical thriller Side Effects.
Side Effects set in New York tells the story of a troubled young woman Emily (Rooney Mara) and recently paroled husband Martin (Channing Tatum) a prosperous couple  however Emily is struggling with Anxiety is prescribed a new drug which has some nasty side effects. As Emily embarks on more appointments as the drugs start to take effect she finds herself entangled in a love triangle with her doctor (Jude Law) she finds herself on a downward spiral of dark psychological turmoil.
The new trailer provide fresh new footage not seen in the previous American trailers providing a better rational look at the films narrative which shows Side Effects is a lot more darker, more sexually provocative revealing some more on the pharmaceutics side of things. Is Side Effects Steven Soderbergh’s darkest film to date or his homage to Fatal Attraction?
All will be revealed on 15th March in UK&Ireland (8th February USA). Side Effects also stars Catherine Zeta Jones, Mamie Gummer and Vinessa Shaw.
