Another week is here! Its the friday feeling, well its actually thursday when Im writing this bowled over with the cold and so out of it today unable to do anything but go through 4 boxes of mansize tissues!!! Anyway its taken me to the last half hour of 4th Feb to eventually do something, so what we got this week?

Adolescent male teen on that sacred voyage to loose his virginity with the girl next door with the help of his alter ego, dirty Harry brings us the story of the rugby world cup of 1995 that brought a fragile divided country closer again after many years of mistrust. Disney go back to basics with an reworking of classic fairytale told jazz style. A up to date version of an classic Anime which many kids of the 1960’s and 1970’s enjoyed growing up stateside been Americanised and the soul ripped out. Finally Sarah Connor helping out a little “harden” there prospects of gaining a little extra doe on the side.

Not really got an movie of the week but I am hoping to go see YOUTH IN REVOLT starring Michael Cera, who holiday he was dreading turns out to the holiday from heaven when he he falls in love with the girl next door. He’s still a virgin and with help of his alter ego he sets out on the elusive journey of “manhood” with some distasterous outcomes. I never really like any of Michael previous movies and when the first trailer did show I wasnt that impressed but when the next trailer came i was hooked. INVICTUS stars Morgan Freeman as Nelson Mandela and Matt Damon as Steven Pienaar the south african rugby captain with old dirty harry him self Clint Eastwood directing. It sees the era when Nelson Mandela first came back into power after decades in jail, aprtheid has finished but still alot of mistrust between whites and blacks and Mandela uses the world cup to try reunite the nation that was torn apart for decades,. I do want to see this but I also dont want to see  it so I would probably go for Youth In Revolt as my movie this week.

Other movies this week are from Walt Disney and PRINCESS AND THE FROG which is set during the Jazz era of New Orleans, but what is unique is the animators have opted for old school techinques instead of the high tech 3d animation. If you are a fan of Walt Disney, no matter how its created you are bound to love it! The animation when it came out in october stateside I was sitting on the line but I read the reviews, comments and have read review comments this week and Im not impressed, Im talking About ASTROBOY. More USA many adults who grew up in the late 1960’s, 1970’s grew up with the classic Dr Osama Tezuka cartoon an iconic part of your childhood. Roll on 2009/10 hollywood has got its dirty paws on it got big name actors like Nicholas Cage, Charlize Theron, samuel L Jackson and English actor Freddy Highmore better known as charlie from tim burtons willy wonka movie as Astroboy, just read my essay . Last but not least a small movie starring Linda Hamilton  HOLY WATER, i’d be honest Ive never heard anything about it until yesterday.

Anyway whatever you see why not write a small review and help the blog survive!!! The Peoples movies was mentioned in 600 blogs you may have missed article on Totalfilm website so we are known by the big boys!!! Whatever you do enjoy the movie be it a new release or a current one and here’s whats in store next week:

Benico Del Toro needs an appointment with the hairdressers and the denist  but only on a full moon. Zeus boy is kicking up a storm and looking for a theif, remember guys its nearly february 14th I hope you havent forgot!? A lesson on how to create fantastic animation from a Japanese master, Colin firth is own his own again and struggling during 1950’s america.
