Soon as November arrives it’s the cue to start celebrating the festive season is coming. In Camille Griffin‘s darkly comedic drama Silent Night, it will be apocalyptic! Literally! 6 weeks until the big day Altitude Films release the official UK Trailer that this Christmas, the biggest gift you can get is to live.

Keira Knightley and Matthew Goode host a festive party for a group of old friends who reunite for Christmas. This celebration will be no ordinary celebration, as all around them is about to end, with Earth about to be destroyed. What could happen or said at this party?

This time of the year is meant to be the happiest time of the year, will it still be when the end is nigh? Call this a social experiment, a cynical dig at current attitudes. Will morality go out the window? We expect so as some are calling this a horror, humanity has been stupid recently and this film might just highlight that…

In true British fashion, (while the rest of the world faces impending doom), a group of old friends reunite to celebrate Christmas in the comfort of an idyllic country home. Burdened with the inconvenience of mankind’s imminent destruction, they adopt a stiff upper lip, crack open another bottle of prosecco and continue with their festivities. But no amount of stoicism can replace the courage needed for their last night on earth.
