Blood and Snow, Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight Trailer Is Here

“One of them fellas is not what he says he is…” as blood, bullets and the snow will deliver an exciting start to 2016 with Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight. Tonight  things get teased as the film’s first teaser trailer arrive online and see what made Comic Con attendees excited!

Eight Strangers, One Bounty and snow blizzard the eight film from Tarantino sees paranoia spread like hypothermia in his latest homage to the Spaghetti Western genre. In The Hateful Eight we step back into an era roughly a decade after the civil war when Bounty Hunter John Ruth (Kurt Russell) is escorting his bounty Daisy to the parts known as ‘The Hang Man’ aka Red Rock Town. Hurtling towards his destination by stagecoach he crosses paths with ex-Union officer (Samuel L.Jackson)claiming to be that town’s sheriff. When a blizzard hits the stagecoach stopover they find themselves in the company of 6 other strangers, they start to fear if they’ll actually make out of the stopover alive.

As ever a mixture of old and new faces from the directors filmography make up the cast, the Tarantinoisms are there too bring a smile to anyone’s face. Django Unchained proved QT can direct Westerns and this one shot in Ultra Panavision screening in glorious 70mm is signs he’s been more ambitious , using full use of the scope reminiscent of John Ford days. Visually gorgeous, tantalizingly sweet, when it comes to QT’s films it’s not about the genre, it’s all about he has a new film, it’s out this date and here’s the trailer!

The Hateful Eight will arrive on UK&Irish shores on 8th January 2016 (USA Limited 25th December, then 8th January). The film will  also star Jennifer Jason Leigh, Walton Goggins, Bruce Dern, Demián Bichir ,Tim Roth, Michael Madsen,James Parks and Zoe Bell.
