BBC Release New Trailer For Sherlock Holmes Season 3

On the evening that Stephen Moffat rules the TV with tonight’s announcement of the New Doctor Who, the first teaser trailer for the world’s greatest fictional slueth Sherlock Holmes season 3!

The BBC last night re-screened the The Reichenbach Fall, season 2 finale a dramatic end to the season which saw many reunions but also the cliffhanger for Sherlock Holmes(Benedict Cumberbatch) who faked his own death but left his his close friend John Watson Know he’s still alive. The trailer reveals an older John Watson (Martin Freeman) with moustache but it’s suggested his character will be developed further. The third series opens with The Empty Hearse (a twist on The Empty House) and The Sign of Three (The Sign of Four)been the opening episodes both twists on Arthur Conan Doyle Sherlock Holmes Short Stories. So who will be the villain ? Moriarty? Probably not more like Charles Augustus Magnussen who will be played by Mads Mikkelson’s brother Lars Mikkelsen. What can we expect? We’ll find out end of 2013 early 2014.
