This week Sovereign Film Distribution will release the surreal The Cow Who Sang A Song Into The Future in UK cinemas. Just before this film arrives, we have another mysterious UK Trailer that teases a little more of what we can expect.

The film marks a timely and haunting directorial feature debut from Francisca Alegría. Starring Hannibal actor Mía Maestro who stars as Magdalena, a woman who, to the shock of her family. She comes back from the dead, and discovers she has an important purpose to fulfil.

We are now in a period of society when we are starting to question our choices in life. Not just think about ourselves when we choose, think about the impact on everyone in your life.

When thousands of fish die in a polluted river in southern Chile, Magdalena, a woman long-deceased, emerges amongst their lifeless bodies. Magdalena encounters her widowed husband, sending him into a state of shock and prompting the return of their daughter, Cecilia. Magdalena’s presence and her effect on the environment stirs curiosity and fear among her family. As the past comes into focus, mother and daughter meet an opportunity to change the future.

The film also stars Mía Maestro, Enzo Ferrada, Benjamin Soto, Leonor Varela, Frederique Gudelj. The Cow Who Sang A Song Into The Future will arrive in UK and Irish cinemas this week, 24th March.
