Many people will not trust him, In the second Trailer for Netflix‘s Ripley, I wouldn’t he’s a ‘professional liar’

The past few years professionally have been great for the Irish actor. All Of Us Are Strangers is a wonderful supernatural drama that deserves plaudits. Sadly it has missed out on the main BAFTA awards, we do hope it does get success at The Oscars this weekend. The limited Netflix series hopefully bring Scott more critical success, especially as it’s based of Patricia Highsmith book The Talented Mr Ripley.

He will play the titular character with  Dakota Fanning as Marge Sherwood. Johnny Flynn as Dickie Greenleaf. For this one we step back in time to 1960’s New York, when a wealthy man hires to get his son back. His son just happens to be in Italy, Dickie (Flynn) whom Tom becomes annoyed by him. A friendship that would lead into deceit, and murder.

We do enjoy our noir inspired psychological thrillers and Highsmith knew how to do it well. We love how slick this look with it been in Black & White, we cannot wait!
