The film stars Terrence Howard as George Fuller who is a proud cinema owner. His cinema comes under threat and attack from ninjas hired by a developer. George looks towards the fictional action star Claude Luc Hallyday (Dolph Lundgren) for help.

Signature Entertainment have released a new clip to give Showdown one last promotion. Entitled ‘Theatre Fight‘, the new clip works side by side with previous clip ‘Movie Within’. The fight comes to the theatre, the patrons think it’s all part of the show…

This 80s action-movie homage is a showdown for the ages. Proud movie theatre owner George Fuller is gearing up for a retrospective featuring fictional action star Claude Luc Hallyday. But when his beloved cinema, the Warner Grand, suddenly comes under attack by hatchet-wielding ninjas sent by a ruthless corporate developer, the two men take the action off the screen and into the theatre.

The film also stars Amanda Righetti (The Mentalist) and John Savage (The Deer Hunter), Showdown at the Grand is written and directed by Orson Oblowitz (The Queen of Hollywood Blvd).
