Small town. Big mystery. Bad language. Studiocanal have released the official First UK (Red) Trailer for Wicked Little Letters. Starring Olivia Colman and Jessie Buckley star, letting rip with plenty of swear words dropping!
Back in the Summer we got a look at the first image which had Colman and Buckley. Since then the film has made it’ world premiere at Toronto Film Festival , with it now starting it’s UK theatrical push.
We find ourselves in the small town of Littlehampton, a stranger than fiction story about neighbours Edith (Colman) and Rose (Buckley). Edith starts to receive letters full of profanities yet humorous language. When suspicion leaning towards one of the women, however the Police are now involved, the town’s women join together to find the real culprit.

Fiery Rose Gooding (Jessie Buckley) has little in common with the pious Edith Swan (Olivia Colman) aside from them being neighbours in the seaside town of Littlehampton in the 1920’s. But one day, Edith and others in the town start receiving scandalous letters written with foul language as eccentric as it is obscene, and the finger of suspicion immediately falls on Rose. As Rose stands to lose her freedom and the custody of her daughter, and outrageous letters continue to blight the town, police officer Gladys Moss (Anjana Vasan) begins to suspect something is amiss. Together with a group of resourceful women, Gladys endeavours to solve the mystery, liberate Rose, and catch the real culprit…
The rest of the cast also includes Anjana Vasan, Timothy Spall, Joanna Scanlan, Hugh Skinner , Malachi Kirby, Gemma Jones, Lolly Adefope, Eileen Atkins, and Alisha Weir.
Wicked Little Letters will be in the UK and Irish cinemas from 23rd February 2024.
