The king of the monsters will soon once again cause havoc with Godzilla Minus One. Cinema’s most iconic monster returns to its post-war roots with Toho’s latest kaiju blockbuster. Today All The Anime release the UK Trailer that roars online!
The new film is described to be the most terrifying incarnation of the character yet, returning the franchise to its post-war roots with a Japan gripped by the helplessness of having already lost everything before this new, monstrous threat emerges. When despair is piled on top of despair, will the people be able to survive, never mind fight back?
The film is directed by Takashi Yamazaki (Lupin III: The First) and stars stars Ryunosuke Kamiki (“Your Name”) alongside Minami Hamabe (“Shin Kamen Rider”). The last time the big fellow appeared on Japanese cinema screens was in 2016 Shin Godzilla. That incarnation took the franchise back to it’s sci-fi horror roots, the new one shares a similar serious and darker tone.
