Everyone likes a underdog story, so do Warner Bros Pictures hence this we have this film and it’s trailer. This film is based on Daniel James Brown’s 2004 book The Boys in the Boat: Nine Americans and Their Epic Quest for Gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics.
The trailer we meet two of the film’s main protagonists Coach Ulbrickson played by Joel Edgerton. Also Joe Rantz played by Callum Turner the outsider who wants in and ‘rows out of need’. The story of University of Washington rowing team who would take the challenge to represent their country at 1936 Berlin Olympics and win gold.
We all do enjoy the film or story that will play with your emotions and pull on our heart strings. You could add George Clooney‘s film even if some might think it’s a little cliched. This is out early next year and perfect time for something a little uplifting…

Boys in the Boat will be released in the UK and Irish cinemas on 12th January, 2024 by Warner Bros. Pictures. Amazon MGM will be releasing the film in the U.S and that date will be 25th December, Christmas Day.
