Celine Song’s Delicate Past Lives Home Release Coming December

Pat Lives DVD ArtworkThe delicate drama from Celine Song Past Lives is set for December home release in the UK and Ireland Studiocanal have announced.

The film stars Greta Lee (Russian Doll), Teo Yoo (Decision to Leave) and John Magaro (The Many Saints of Newark). The film marked Song’s directorial feature debut who is also an established playwright and the film garnered predominantly fantastic reviews. Freda Cooper reviewed the film for The Peoples Movies who describes it as “brilliantly observed, heartfelt and mature in its complexity“.

The film we meet childhood friends Nora (Lee) and Hae Sung (Yoo), who were sweethearts from the day they met. That all changes when Nora and her family emigrate from South Korea to New York, USA. Two decades after Nora moved to the States they are both reunited, sharing a week to confront their feelings and choices.

Nora (Greta Lee) and Hae Sung (Teo Yoo), two deeply connected childhood friends, are wrest apart after Nora’s family emigrates from South Korea. Two decades later, they are reunited in New York for one fateful week as they confront notions of destiny, love, and the choices that make a life, in this heartrending modern romance.
