Anime’s favourite ‘family’ will be heading back to the streaming world, with SPYxFAMILY season 2! The long wait is nearly with Crunchyroll announcing the new season will arrive 7th October. They also have released the new season’s trailer which you can watch below…
The Forgers’ fun continues when Loid, Anya, Yor, and Bond return for another adventure. World peace is at stake again as they family attempt to live as they try to blend into society whilst being secret agents, deadly assassins, even a telepath!
World peace is at stake and secret agent Twilight must undergo his most difficult mission yet—pretend to be a family man. Posing as a loving husband and father, he’ll infiltrate an elite school to get close to a high-profile politician. He has the perfect cover, except his wife’s a deadly assassin and neither knows each other’s identity. But someone does, his adopted daughter who’s a telepath!
SPY x FAMILY is produced by TOHO Animation and adapted from the widely acclaimed manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo. This season is co-directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi (1999’s Hunter x Hunter) and Takahiro Harada who formerly acted as assistant director on the series.
The voice (Japanese) cast for this series is Takuya Eguchi as Loid Forger, Atsumi Tanezaki as Anya Forger and Saori Hayami as Yor Forger. Kenichirou Matsuda as Bond Forger / Narrator, with Hiroyuki Yoshino as Franky Franklin. Yuhko Kaida as Sylvia Sherwood. Also Kazuhiro Yamaji as Henry Henderson, Kensho Ono as Yuri Briar, Natsumi Fujiwara as Damian Desmond, Emiri Kato as Becky Blackbell and Ayane Sakura as Fiona Frost.
SPYxFAMILY Season 2, will premier this October, only on Crunchyroll. The new season will be subtitled and dubbed in all territories, with new episodes every week starting on Saturday 7th October after its broadcast in Japan.
