At the end of this month we will witness the final chapter for Robert McColl in The Equalizer 3. Ahead of it’s cinematic release, Sony Pictures Releasing have released a new ‘Recap’ Vignette.
Justice knows no borders and in the final film, we find Robert living in Southern Italy. Made new friends who have welcomed him with open arms, living in peace. However, he must once again serve justice on behalf of the oppressed. When he learns the community he lives in is under the control of the local Mafioso.
In this new featurette, Denzel Washington and director Antoine Fuqua, chat about Robert’s journey. Recalling the violent justice he’s unleashed in the first two films and what to expect in this third and final film.

Since giving up his life as a government assassin, Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) has struggled to reconcile the horrific things he’s done in the past and finds a strange solace is serving justice on behalf of the oppressed. Finding himself surprisingly at home in Southern Italy, he discovers his new friends are under the control of local crime bosses. As events turn deadly, McCall knows what he has to do: become his friends’ protector by taking on the mafia.
The film also stars Sonia Ben Ammar, Remo Girone, Andrea Dodero, Eugenio Mastrandrea, and Andrea Scarduzio. The Equalizer 3 now has a slightly different new UK and Irish cinema release of 30th August.
