We do enjoy a underdog story and especially those amongst the giants, like Basketball. As we know those players are big Stephen Curry who may not be the ‘stereotypical’ NBA player, over time he did. Today Apple TV+ have sent us over the official Trailer for their upcoming documentary Stephen Curry: Underrated that promises to captivate.
I’ll admit my knowledge of the NBA is very limited. If you enjoy that coming of age story rising through the University ranks to the big league, this film will be for you. Curry would become one of the games most influential players of all time, highly underrated now icon of the game.

This feature documentary — blending intimate cinéma vérité, archival footage and on camera interviews — documents Curry’s rise from an undersized college player at a small town Division I college to a four-time NBA champion, building one of the most dominant sports dynasties in the world.

The film is produced by Peter Nicks and Ryan Coogler through Proximity Media, Erick Peyton through Curry’s Unanimous Media and Sean Havey, Ben Cotner and Marissa Torres Ericson. Sev Ohanian, Zinzi Coogler and Emily Osborne are executive producing.
Stephen Curry: Underrated will premiere globally on Apple TV+ from 21st July.
