The universe has called, In Disney Pixar‘s Elio , it may have called the wrong number. Next spring the underdog animated adventure sees a young boy becoming the voice of humanity. Pixar have sent us the First UK Trailer which teases a sci-fi adventure awaits the ‘ambassador’ of Earth!
Yonas Kibreab voices our titular character, in Pixar‘s 28th animated feature that was announced at D23 last year. His (mis) adventure starts when he finds himself selected by Aliens whom they make the boy the voice of humanity making him the ambassador. Unprepared he must face trailers and what lies ahead and who he’s meant to be.
For a teaser trailer we do get to see a lot of what’s going on. Hopefully and exciting intergalatic adventure awaits us all!
For centuries, people have called out to the universe looking for answers—in Disney and Pixar’s all-new movie “Elio,” the universe calls back! The original feature film introduces Elio, an underdog with an active imagination who finds himself inadvertently beamed up to the Communiverse, an interplanetary organization with representatives from galaxies far and wide. Mistakenly identified as Earth’s ambassador to the rest of the universe, and completely unprepared for that kind of pressure, Elio must form new bonds with eccentric alien lifeforms, survive a series of formidable trials and somehow discover who he is truly meant to be.
The rest of the voice cast includes America Ferrera as Elio’s mom, Olga; Jameela Jamil as Ambassador Questa; Brad Garrett as Ambassador Grigon. Elio the intergalactic misadventure that is scheduled to take off next spring, in the UK, Ireland and U.S.A from 1st March 2024.
