Scream VI  ‘screams’ the loudest  as it claims a second week at the top of the Official Film Chart.

Scaring its way to the top on digital downloads only for a second week running, the film holds off closest competition Avatar: The Way of Water at Number 2, and the speedy resurgence of Fast & Furious 9 which races up six places to Number 3 following the release of Fast X last week. Puss In Boots: The Last Wish drops one to Number 4 as a result.

Brand new at Number 5 and our highest new entry of the week is Vampiric comedy-horror Renfield. Starring Nicholas Hoult as the titular character and loyal servant to the narcissistic Dracula (Nicholas Cage), and based in the modern day, after centuries of servitude Renfield decides to see if there’s a life outside of his codependent relationship with his boss – and all the demands and bloodshed that comes with it.

Terrifying horror-mystery Knock at the Cabin is next up at Number 6, flying 13 places to enter the Top 10 for the first time. M Night Shyamalan directs a strong cast including Dave Bautista, Jonathan Groff, and Ben Aldridge, telling the story of a young family who must decide whether they live or die to save the world from an impending apocalypse.

Cocaine Bear storms back into the chart at Number 7, ahead of Creed III (8) and Downton Abbey: A New Era (9).

Finally, a new rom-com enters the arena as What’s Love Got To Do With It? zooms 18 places to Number 10. Documentary-maker and dating app addict Zoe (Lily James) decides to chronicle her childhood friend Kaz’s (Shazad Latif) journey from London to Lahore, as he opts for an arranged marriage in Pakistan to a bride chosen by his parents.
