Fans of K-Pop boy band BTS will be excited to know Crunchyroll have acquired the rights to Bastions the Korean superhero anime based off the band!
The fusion of K-pop and animation marks BTS’s first project as a group since their anthology album “Proof”. The Bastions soundtrack will also feature a host of K-pop original songs and music from Heize, AleXa, and girl group, Le Ssarafim.
The K-pop superhero series will be streaming weekly on Crunchyroll beginning on Saturday, 13th of May!
Bastions is about a group of rookie superheroes in a world where superheroes compete for popularity. The young dynamos emerge as fully-fledged heroes after saving Earth from a crisis by uncovering the identity of a villain responsible for environmental pollution.

This news will excite fans of the boy band who are are currently in ‘hiatus’ as they all pursue their own solo careers. Despite the solo careers it’s expected the band to reunite sooner than later.
Crunchyroll will begin airing the five-part series on Saturdays, beginning 13th May. The global streaming rights extend worldwide, excluding China, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, North Korea and South Korea.
