In Black Mirror Season 6 Trailer Things Will Be ‘Irresistible’

Last month we learned to expect the unexpected in the long awaited Black Mirror Season 6 teaser trailer. Today Netflix unveil the full Trailer, the launch date plus info on the episodes and things are now ‘Irresistible’.

The four year wait is virtually over for Charlie Brookers cult series, which has come a long way since it’s roots in Channel 4. Things are now global thanks to it’s current home of Netflix and when it comes to that dystopian world. Is it satire? Is it political? It’s Brookers own Twilight Zone which will be with us in June and will come with five stories…

First story is Joan Is Awful (Dir.Ally Pankiw), all about an average woman is stunned to discover a global streaming platform has launched a prestige TV drama adaptation of her life — in which she is portrayed by Hollywood A-lister Salma Hayek. The episode also stars Annie Murphy, Ben Barnes, Himesh Patel, Michael Cera, Rob Delaney.

Loch Henry (Dir. Sam Miller) is about a young couple who travel to a sleepy Scottish town to start work on a genteel nature documentary – but find themselves drawn to a juicy local story involving shocking events of the past. The episode also stars Daniel Portman, John Hannah, Monica Dolan, Myha’la Herrold, Samuel Blenkin.

Beyond The Sea (Dir.John Crowley)is set in an alternative 1969, two men on a perilous high-tech mission wrestle with the consequences of an unimaginable tragedy. This episode stars Aaron Paul, Auden Thornton, Josh Hartnett, Kate Mara, Rory Culkin.

The next episode called Mazie Day (Dir.Uta Briesewitz) is all about a troubled starlet is dogged by invasive paparazzi while dealing with the consequences of a hit-and-run incident. Clara Rugaard, Danny Ramirez, Zazie Beetz star in this one.

The final episode Demon 79 (Dir.Toby Haynes) we find ourselves in Northern England, 1979. A meek sales assistant is told she must commit terrible acts to prevent disaster. Starring Anjana Vasan, Paapa Essiedu
