This morning the 2023 BAFTA Television and Television Craft Awards nominees were announced. Sky received 14 nominations in total for the 2, with shows recognised across drama, comedy and factual programming.
A total of 128 programmes received nominations today from a record-breaking number of entries across Television and Craft. BBC leads the other contenders with 81 nominations, with Channel 4, Netflix, ITV, Apple TV+ and Disney+.
Zai Bennett, Managing Director, Content, Sky UK and Ireland, commented “At Sky we’re all about bringing the very best content to our customers, whether that’s a brand new documentary, an unmissable drama, a beautifully shot nature series or something totally different. We’re really pleased to see so many of our genres acknowledged in the 14 BAFTA TV award nominations we’ve received this morning, particularly the three nods to Chernobyl: The Lost Tapes. Our congratulations to everyone who worked on all the nominated shows.”
