Netflix has revealed the official Trailer for their upcoming dark comedy series, Beef. Starring Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, teasing revenge is best served raw!
The 10 episode series comes from A24 who have made a name for themselves including Pearl, Lady Bird and Oscar winning Everything Everywhere All At Once. The studio have been creating series for a while now with It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia writer Lee Sung Jin‘s the latest.
This revenge comedy plays like a character study of two people looking for some type of connection. Danny (Yeun) is struggling through life with nothing to show for it. Amy (Wong) has everything, the business, good wife and the family but drowning in the pressure. The pair come entangled in a road rage incident and a never ending circle of violence.
Mental health is a big issue in society these days, this series highlights this and what happens when you ignore it…

BEEF follows the aftermath of a road rage incident between two strangers. Danny Cho (Steven Yeun), a failing contractor with a chip on his shoulder, goes head-to-head with Amy Lau (Ali Wong), a self-made entrepreneur with a picturesque life. The increasing stakes of their feud unravel their lives and relationships in this darkly comedic and deeply moving series.
The rest of the cast for this series includes Joseph Lee (George), Young Mazino (Paul), David Choe (Isaac), Patti Yasutake (Fumi).Maria Bello (Jordan Forster), Ashley Park (Naomi), Justin H. Min, Mia Serafino, Remy Holt (Junie).
