Some of you may know I also have another film blog, Chronicles In Film. I started that website in late 2016, The Chronicle is it’s podcast and this week I released episode 3. I cover film old and new which comes in the shape of review, retrospective even just a rant. The past couple of weeks I’ve been at Glasgow Film Festival and this new episode is films from the festival.
Glasgow Film Festival celebrated it’s 19th year in existence with film for all. A wide selection of great independent films from around the world . The festival will also be the focus for the next couple of Podcast episodes and the new episode we have 3 new films.
First film is the Japanese genre shifting film A Man. A film that starts of looking like a Romantic drama before coming a crime procedural thriller. Then we head into the near future with French sci-fi drama Tropic, when brotherly love is put to the test. Then we finish in Spain with the intriguing thriller The Beasts starring Denis Menochet (Inglorious Basterds).
