Bert Kreischer Faces Familial Crisis In The Machine UK Trailer

Ghosts of your past will always catch up with you and this looks like the case in The Machine. Sony Pictures has released the UK Trailer for the action comedy starring Bert Kreischer who seems to be Facing a familial crisis.

They may call it liquid courage, what ever you want to call alcohol it will get get you into trouble in some shape or form. Kreischer might be kicking ass, a ghost of his boozy past awaits him to take him back home!. His old man is none other than Luke Skywalker, Mark Hamill and it looks like her might be on speed?!

We do love true stories, if this is ‘true’ The Machine is based on a original story stand up comedian Kreischer was involved in 23 years ago. When he was a student in Russia he earned a nickname ‘The Machine’ all thanks to his drinking abilities. Unaware in one of his drunken states unwittingly helped mobsters rob a train, now the past comes back to haunt him. Heading back to Russia to atone his ‘crimes’ with the help of his dad.

Set 23 years after the original story which inspired it, The Machine finds Bert (Bert Kreischer) facing familial crisis and the arrival of his estranged father (Mark Hamill) when the ghost of his booze-soaked past arrives: a murderous mobster (Iva Babić) hellbent on kidnapping Bert back to the motherland to atone for his crimes. Together, he and his father must retrace the steps of his younger self (Jimmy Tatro) in the midst of a war between a sociopathic crime family while they attempt to find common ground.

The film also stars Mark Hamill, Iva Babic, Jimmy Tatro, Nikola Djuričko, Stephanie Kurtzuba, and Martyn Ford. The Machine will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 31st May.
