First Look At Netflix Series Beef Starring Steven Yuen & Ali Wong

The latest series from It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia writer Lee Sung Jin, Beef will be with us from April. Netflix and A24 have given us a first look images from 10 part series.

Beef is a new edgy, smart, revenge fable, starring The Walking Dead star Steven Yeun alongside comedy darling Ali Wong. The high-stakes and propulsive tale provides a unique and darkly comedic character study following two deeply unsatisfied people who are looking for connection without knowing that’s what they need.

Yeun plays Danny who seems to be struggling with his work and personal life. People who know him, know him as someone with a chip on his shoulder. Wong is Amy Lau who seems to have an ongoing conflict with Danny who interrupts Amy’s near perfect life.

BEEF follows the aftermath of a road rage incident between two strangers. Danny Cho (Steven Yeun), a failing contractor with a chip on his shoulder, goes head-to-head with Amy Lau (Ali Wong), a self-made entrepreneur with a picturesque life. The increasing stakes of their feud unravel their lives and relationships in this darkly comedic and deeply moving series.

The rest of cast includes Joseph Lee (George), Young Mazino (Paul), David Choe (Isaac), Patti Yasutake (Fumi).Maria Bello (Jordan Forster), Ashley Park (Naomi), Justin H. Min, Mia Serafino, Remy Holt (Junie).

All 10 episodes of Beef will be available to watch on Netflix from 6th April.
