The revolution may have been televised many decades ago, In 1980’s that revolution was on your feet. Warner Bros have released the UK Trailer for Ben Affleck’s Air, the story that changed Basketball and Michael Jordan forever.
Affleck directs and stars in this one, reuniting with Matt Damon. The pair play Nike co founders Phil Knight and Sonny Vaccaro. Back in 1984 they unearthed a game changer that would revigorate Nike’s Basketball and then rookie Michael Jordan. Off course the partnership that created the Nike ‘Air’ Jordan a brand that changed culture forever worldwide.
Before that brand was born they did have to convince a protective mother Deloris Jordan. The talent her boy has. Vaccaro seems to be the focus of this trailer, he did come up with the marketing plan. A man with a lot of ambition and a intriguing film on the cards… We hope.
