After touring the genre film festivals, Korean action horror Operation Wolf Hunting is coming to UK. Ahead of it’s Icon Film Channel premiere and cinema release Kaleidoscope Entertainment have unearthed the UK Trailer.

If you are like us like the genre film that opens a door to escapism this looks the tonic. Gory, hyper violent, action packed and the South Koreans are experts to this type of film. Toronto, Sitges,  have all shown how popular Hong-seon Kims film has been.

Whilst transporting some dangerous criminals from Philippines to South Korea, an unknown sinister force is released. The force sparks an all-out riot and something waiting to rise from the darkness.

Think The Raid, Con-Air becoming an all out action horror, this looks bonkers!

Buckle up for this brutal, bloody and no-holds-barred South Korean action-horror from Kim Hong Sun, the veteran director known for The Chase. Following its world debut at TIFF Midnight Madness in 2022, it has quickly become a firm global festival favourite, having also been selected for Sitges International Film Festival, Leeds International Film Festival and San Sebastian Horror & Fantasy Film Festival.

During an extradition from the Philippines to South Korea, a group of dangerous criminals unite to stage a coordinated escape attempt from their floating prison. As the jailbreak escalates into a bloody, all-out riot, the fugitives and their allies from the outside exact a brutal terror campaign against the special agents onboard the 58,000-ton cargo ship. But the prisoners aren’t the only ones waiting to rise from the darkness – the freighter may be harbouring an even more sinister enemy…

Project Wolf Hunting stars Seo In-guk, Jang Dong-yoon, Sung Dong-il, and Jung So-min. The film will be available first on Icon Film Channel which can be accessed via Amazon Prime. Then on 10th March it will get a cinema release, own it on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital 10th April.
