This is one ship you won’t want to be on even if it’s taking you to a new life. The Kerberos an immigrant ship that sets sails from Southampton to New York in ‘1899’. What should have been a straight forward sailing takes an unexpected turn with the appearance of another ship. The missing ship Prometheus which mysteriously went missing months before.  What cursed those one that ship about to happen to the Kerberos passengers?

Anyone who knows there Greek Mythology Kerberos is the 3 head dog that guarded the entrance the underworld known as Hades. Prometheus is known as the god of fire who took fire from the gods gave to humanity. The gods revenge was in the shape of torment for eternity, I think we can say this inspired. What horrors lie ahead? What are the symbols?

1899. A migrant steamship heads west to leave the old continent. The passengers, a mixed bag of European origins, united by their hopes and dreams for the new century and their future abroad. But their journey takes an unexpected turn when they discover another migrant ship adrift on open sea. What they will find on board, will turn their passage to the promised land into a horrifying nightmare.

The cast is massive as well as international. The cast includes Emily Beecham, Aneurin Barnard, Andreas Pietschmann, Miguel Bernardeau, Maciej Musiał, Anton Lesser, Lucas Lynggaard Tønnesen, Rosalie Craig. 1899 is set to sail exclusively on Netflix from 17th November.
