Gerard Butler Is A Hero Pilot In UK Trailer For Plane

Survive together or die alone or you could simply watch the UK Trailer for Gerard Butler’s latest actioner, Plane.

Paisley’s finest back again with what he does best, saving humanity. The Scottish actor likes his crisis plunging into a life or death situation. This time he’s a pilot who is forced into an emergency landing due to a lighting strike. Landing on an island away from one danger into another, a war zone and a group who has intension of talking every passenger hostage.

Mike Colter (Luke Cage) stars along side Butler in this one. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know what your going to get here. Action packed, plenty of tension and Butler has certainly established himself as one of the action genres leading stars. After years of trying out other genres, 300 was a sign he has found his home. Likes of Greenland, Cop Shop and ‘Has Fallen‘ films have proven his worth. January is a quiet month, nothing better than a action film to kick things off.

In the white-knuckle action movie PLANE, pilot Brodie Torrance (Gerard Butler) saves his passengers from a lightning strike by making a risky landing on a war-torn island – only to find that surviving the landing was just the beginning.

When most of the passengers are taken hostage by dangerous rebels, the only person Torrance can count on for help is Louis Gaspare (Mike Colter), an accused murderer who was being transported by the FBI. In order to rescue the passengers, Torrance will need Gaspare’s help, and will learn there’s more to Gaspare than meets the eye.

The cast for this one will also include Yoson An, Paul Ben-Victor, Daniella Pineda, Remi Adeleke, Joey Slotnick, Evan Dane Taylor, Claro de los Reyes, and Tony Goldwyn.

Plane will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 27th January 2023.
