The Fabelmans First Trailer Teases The Magic Of The Movies


Movies are dreams that you never forget. This afternoon Entertainment One have revealed the first UK Trailer for Steven Spielberg‘s The Fabelmans. A trailer that teases the magic of the big screen and the movies.

Yesterday at Toronto Film Festival the film made it’s world premiere and the feedback is very positive. Spielberg‘s filmography has gotten mixed response from cinephiles and critics. Could this be the film that balances everything up?

The film stars Gabriel LaBelle (The Predator) as 16-year-old aspiring filmmaker Sammy Fabelman. His parents Michelle Williams (Manchester by the Sea) as his artistic mother, Mitzi with Paul Dano (The Batman) as his successful, scientific father.

The film is considered  Spielberg‘s most personal film to date and inspired by his own life. It’ a coming of age story of young Sammy, life shattered thanks to a family secret. Thanks to the power of movies  find more about himself and the first steps towards coming the filmmaker we know of him today.

Whatever you think of the director, he is a great storyteller. This film is a love letter to cinema which Spielberg has played his part of that love. We can all make that story into a great film, January we’ll watch Steven Spielberg’s.

A deeply personal portrait of 20th Century American childhood, The Fabelmans is a coming-of-age story about a young man’s discovery of a shattering family secret and an exploration of the power of movies to help us see the truth about each other and ourselves.

The rest of the cast also includes Julia Butters, Oakes Fegley, and Seth Rogen. Robin Bartlett, Keeley Karsten, Judd Hirsch, Gabriel Bateman, and Jeannie Berlin.

The Fabelmans will be released in the UK and Ireland from 27th January 2023.
