Jessica Chastain Is Stretched To Her Limits In The Good Nurse Trailer

Based on the unthinkable true story, Netflix have revealed the Trailer for The Good Nurse. Jessica Chastain is out titular character who is stretched to her limits.

Directed By Tobias Lindholm and based the book The Good Nurse: A True Story of Medicine, Madness, and Murder by Charles Graeber. Chastain is Amy a compassionate nurse and single mother who also has a heart condition.  Pushed to her limits working the nightshift on the ICU, it’s here she builds a friendship with fellow nurse Charlie (Eddie Redmayne).  As that friendship builds with Charlie at work sudden deaths of patients rise leaving Amy to question who is behind the deaths.

Astonish story when the culprit was caught they said they where doing patients a ‘favour’. Curious to see Redmayne pull off a darker side of acting.

Amy, a compassionate nurse and single mother struggling with a life-threatening heart condition, is stretched to her physical and emotional limits by the hard and demanding night shifts at the ICU. But help arrives, when Charlie, a thoughtful and empathetic fellow nurse, starts at her unit. While sharing long nights at the hospital, the two develop a strong and devoted friendship, and for the first time in years, Amy truly has faith in her and her young daughters’ future. But after a series of mysterious patient deaths sets off an investigation that points to Charlie as the prime suspect, Amy is forced to risk her life and the safety of her children to uncover the truth.

The rest of the film’s cast includes Nnamdi Asomugha, Kim Dickens, Malik Yoba, Alix West Lefler And Noah Emmerich. The Good Nurse will make it’s UK Premiere at BFI London Film Festival on 10th October. There will be a limited UK and Irish cinema release from 19th October then globally on Netflix 26th October.
