Cate Blanchett Conducts The Chaos In New Tár Trailer

Universal Pictures have released a second UK Trailer for Todd Field‘s arthouse drama, Tár.  Teasing Cate Blanchett might be one of the greatest living composers, she can conduct the chaos.

The film mark’s Todd Field’s (Little Children, In Bedroom) return to filmmaking . 16 years on we find ourselves in the world of classical music and fictional composer Lydia Tár (Blanchett). She is considered the greatest living female composer/conductor and first for female chief conductor of a German orchestra.

Once again this second trailer doesn’t reveal exactly what the  plot is exactly about.  If anything we follow her process of creating her next masterpiece and it will be a surreal journey for her.

There is hints that this will follow a biopic format despite the character being fictional. This will the film a free pass to try things not usually connected to the usual biopic. The film will shortly make it’s world premiere at Venice Film Festival things will be a lot clearer, we’re stoked to see this one!
