Murder In The Family In Sharon Horgan’s Bad Sister’s Trailer

There’s been a murder in the family! Whodunnit that will all be revealed in Sharon Horgan‘s dark comedy, Bad Sisters. The clue might be in the title, today you can enjoy the official Trailer for the upcoming Apple TV Series.

The series stars Anne-Marie Duff ( Suffragette, The Salisbury Poisonings), Eva Birthistle (Brooklyn, The Last Kingdom).  Sarah Greene (Frank of Ireland, Dublin Murders) and Eve Hewson (Behind her Eyes, The Luminaries) . Horgan may direct this series, she also stars as one of the Garvey sisters.

Bad Sisters is set in Dublin, Ireland and based around the Belgium series, Clan. The tight-knit Garvey sisters have always looked out for each other. When their brother-in-law winds up dead, his life insurers launch an investigation to prove malicious intent—and set their sights on the sisters, all of whom had ample reason to kill him.

Always interesting to see how a film or show when that ending we already know about. The murder, however it’s all about the delivery and comedy is a perfect vehicle. The reasons and how they come to murdering the brother in law is the name of the game.

A delicious blend of both dark comedy and thriller, “Bad Sisters” follows the lives of the Garvey sisters, who are bound together by the premature death of their parents and a promise to always protect one another. The series stars Sharon Horgan, alongside Anne-Marie Duff (“Suffragette,” “The Salisbury Poisonings”), Eva Birthistle (“Brooklyn,” “The Last Kingdom”), Sarah Greene (“Frank of Ireland,” “Dublin Murders”) and Eve Hewson (“Behind her Eyes,” “The Luminaries”) as the Garvey sisters.

The series also stars Claes Bang, Brian Gleeson, Daryl McCormack, Assaad Bouab, and Saise Quinn. Bad Sisters will premiere on Apple TV from 19th August. Kicking off with the first two episodes of a 10 episode series.
