New Jordan Peele’s Nope Trailer Teases The Alien Threat

If you go by Jordan Peele’s previous films nothing as straight forward as you think it is. The same can be said about his latest horror Nope, we know the title, the cast and very little more. Universal Pictures continue the tease with a second UK Trailer that gives us a little more on the ‘alien’ threat.

Does this trailer reveal a little too much? Watch with caution…

Universal Pictures have also released a new behind the scenes Featurette called ‘Cinematic Event‘. In this new promo Peele himself chats about his film and thanks to the film’s ambition, Nope is going to be a Cinematic Event.  How’s he going to pull it off is all down to his crew and most of all the cast. There is a few snippets of new footage with a glimpse of Keith David (The Thing, They Live!), does he play a pivotal part to the film?

“What’s a bad miracle?”

Oscar® winner Jordan Peele disrupted and redefined modern horror with Get Out and then Us. Now, he reimagines the summer movie with a new pop nightmare: the expansive horror epic, Nope.

The film reunites Peele with Oscar® winner Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out, Judas and the Black Messiah), who is joined by Keke Palmer (Hustlers, Alice) and Oscar® nominee Steven Yeun (Minari, Okja) as residents in a lonely gulch of inland California who bear witness to an uncanny and chilling discovery.

The rest of the cast includes  Daniel Kaluuya, Keke Palmer, Steven Yuen, Barbie Ferreira, Michael Wincott, Donna Mills, Brandon Perea and Terry Notary.

The UK and Irish cinema release date has changed, we will see Jordan Peele‘s Nope from 12th August. If you live in the U.S it’s still 22nd July.
