Where the mysteries lie. Where the secrets are buried, as Sony Pictures release a second UK Trailer for Where The Crawdads Sing. The new trailer for the film adaptation of Delia Owen‘s popular 2018 book of the same name. Teasing more of the murder mystery entangled in a complicated love triangle.

Described as a love letter to growing up in Deep South, USA. The film is set between 1952 and 1969, we follow a young woman Kya (Daisy Edgar Jones) nicknamed Marsh Girl raised by herself in marshlands of North Carolina. Her life takes a turn for the worse when she becomes the main suspect in the murder in one of her ex-lovers.

It looks like the film will follow that basic set up taken from the pages of the book. Around the court case and standing up for yourself when no one believes you.
