If you thinking hasn’t The Time Traveller’s Wife not being adapted for the screen before? You would be correct, in 2009 starring Rachael McAdams and Eric Bana released in cinemas. 13 years later it’s returning again this time for Television, today Sky announce they will be showing it in the UK and Ireland, check out the first Trailer below.
The six episode series based on the bestselling novel by Audrey Niffenegger, stars Theo James and Rose Leslie. The romantic drama promises to pull on your heart strings as they confront the challenges of time travelling. Henry (James) is married to Claire (Leslie), whose marriage is complicated thanks to Henry. He has a disorder that makes him unexpectedly disappears then reappears, how can they keep that love going?
The promo explains Henry’s disorder, which Claire narrates and makes us aware it’s not a superpower. It looks heartbreaking especially for Claire with clothes left in bundle, leaving her lonely. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who and Sherlock fame is the showrunner with David Nutter directing.

The series also stars Desmin Borges as Gomez, and Natasha Lopez as Charisse.
The Time Traveller’s Wife will be released on Sky Atlantic and streaming Service NOW from May in the UK and Ireland. Exact date still to be confirmed, if you live in the U.S you can watch the series on HBO Max.
