Simon Bird’s Days Of Bagnold Summer Getting Limited Blu-ray Release

Director Simon Bird’s (The Inbetweeners, Friday Night Dinner) debut feature Days Of Bagnold Summer is getting a Limited Edition Blu-ray release by Anti-Worlds Releasing in April.

The indie is a tender, funny coming-of-age story; an acutely observed portrait of growing pains, friendship and family life and is based on Joff Winterhart’s hugely acclaimed graphic novel.

The film stars Earl Cave, Monica Dolan, Rob Brydon, Tamsin Greig, Alice Lowe, and Tim Key.

The film is based around two lonely people Daniel (Cave) a young man was meant to spend his Summer with his Father. When the trip is cancelled and now faces his Summer with his boring Mother (Dolan). He’ll now try and spend his time listening to metal music and putting up with his librarian mu

Anti-Worlds collector’s edition disc is a world first Blu-ray edition and features a huge array of extras giving a deep dive into the film.
