The small screen spin-off character from James Gunn‘s The Suicide Squad The Peacemaker will soon arrive. A series that will give the popular anti-hero (played by John Cena) his own band of misfits and mission. The new promo teases the foul language will drop like bombs, violence erupting and off course the cheesy humour…All in the name of peace!
We still don’t know much about what this series will be all about apart from his origins. Do we need to know more? Probably not just that unrelenting violent fun ride we’re expecting, just learn how he became that douchebag. Off course we cannot wait to see that school kid’s question about if he has met Wonder Woman. All we’ll say is it involves eyes and we’ll leave the trailer to tell the rest!

The rest of the cast includes Robert Patrick [Auggie Smith] , Steve Agee [as John Economos], Danielle Brooks [as Leota Adebayo],Jennifer Holland [as Agent Emilia Harcourt],Freddie Stroma [as Adrian Chase/Vigilante] and Chukwudi Iwuji [as Clemson Murn]. Lochlyn Munro [as Larry Fitzgibbon], Annie Chang [as Detective Sophie Song], Christopher Heyerdahl [as Captain Locke], Elizabeth Faith Ludlow [as Keeya], Rizwan Manji [as Jamil], Nhut Le [as Judomaster],Alison Araya [as Amber] and Lenny Jacobson [as Evan].
The Peacemaker will arrive in the U.S on 13th January with three episodes on HBO Max. Here in the UK and Ireland there’s still no official word on what channel and when they will release the series. Hopefully not too long until we find out!
