Jared Leto And Anne Hathaway Are ‘WeWork’ In WeCrashed Trailer

Been from the UK WeWork maybe an unknown quantity to some of us. They were big enough for Apple to put pen to paper to release an limited series starring Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway. Today we get a look at the first Teaser Trailer for that series, WeCrashed.

That opening paragraph  wasn’t a negative dig at this series created by Lee Eisenberg and Drew Crevello. Which has  John Requa and Glenn Ficarra (This is Us, Crazy Stupid Love) directing some episodes . According to the internet, WeWork was an business that failed as quick as they started. Offering single coworking space , despite kicking off as one of the best start ups collapsed like the house of cards. All thanks to poor management, lawsuits and scandals along with the owner’s  who were considered  greedy and all round not nice people.

The limited series is inspired by a story from WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork Podcast. Leto and Hathaway playing Adam & Rebekah Neumann the co-owners, madly in love building a global brand. As success grew, greed, narcissism, misconduct see them clash with the authorities.

This series teases that the romance between the lead actors may take main focus. Off course the rise and fall of the company will be in there too, showcasing money is the only God many in power pray to.

The series is inspired by actual events — and the love story at the center of it all. WeWork grew from a single coworking space into a global brand worth $47 billion in under a decade. Then, in less than a year, its value plummeted. What happened?

The rest of the series does include Kyle Marvin as Miguel McKelvey, the other co-founder of WeWork. He is joined by America Ferrera and O-T Fagbenle in the cast.

WeCrashed will premiere globally on Apple TV+ from 18th March. The eight episode series will premiere with the first three episodes, with the rest shown weekly.
