New Scream Featurette Celebrates The Original Film

Regardless what people might think of film franchises, if your still making films 25 years after the first film, you must be doing something right? Scream in January will see the fifth instalment be released and in new Featurette they celebrate the original film that was released in 1996.

In the new promo the cast and crew chat about that original film created by the mastermind Wes Craven. His vision, and film that reshaped the slasher genre. Most of all honouring Craven who sadly passed away in 2015 and as Neve Campbell called him “like a father in a lot of ways to all of us.”

Twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, a new killer has donned the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town’s deadly past. Neve Campbell (“Sidney Prescott”), Courteney Cox (“Gale Weathers”) and David Arquette (“Dewey Riley”) return to their iconic roles in Scream alongside Melissa Barrera, Kyle Gallner, Mason Gooding, Mikey Madison, Dylan Minnette, Jenna Ortega, Jack Quaid, Marley Shelton, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Sonia Ammar.

The cast includes franchise regulars David Arquette, Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, Roger L. Jackson, and Marley Shelton. They are joined by newcomers Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Jack Quaid, Mason Gooding, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Dylan Minnette, Mikey Madison, Sonia Ben Ammar, and Kyle Gallner.

Scream will be released in UK ,Irish and American cinemas from 14th January 2022.
