New Clip From Irvine Welsh’s Crime is ‘Oblivious’

Today over at Britbox UK sees the launch of Crime, Irvine Welsh‘s first foray into television. If the prospect of Trainspotting creator stepping into TV isn’t enough, the channel has released a  brand new clip. We step into the rabbit hole which is the troubled mind of Detective Inspector Ray Lennox.

Dougray Scott is Ray Lennox a detective in Edinburgh, a city on the edge of the abyss. A man fighting his own demons whilst attempting to solve crime in his city. A girl goes missing can he find her?

Crime is the story of Ray Lennox in a city on the edge of the abyss. Lennox is a man whose clear sight is not always a blessing. A girl goes missing. A town is in fear. A police department fights with itself. A hero is lost; tortured by his own demons and all the while, watching, waiting, a brutal killer is poised to strike.

The series also stars Joanna Vanderham (Warrior, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow) as DS Amanda Drummond, Angela Griffin (Harlots, Dun Breedin’, White Lines) as Trudi Lowe, Ken Stott (The Dig, Fortitude, Devils) as Chief Superintendent Bob Toal and Jamie Sives (Guilt, Too Close) as Detective Inspector Dougie Gillman.
