How Far Will Mahershala Ali Go In Apple TV’s Swan Song?

An impossible decision awaits for Mahershala Ali in Apple Tv+ upcoming ‘originals’ film Swan Song. How would you go in the name of love  when you are dying?  Apple have released the film’s official Trailer the debut feature film from writer turn director Benjamin Cleary.

This film sees Ali reunite with his Moonlight co-star Naomie Harris both play a married couple. Cameron (Ali) is also a father receives the tragic news that he has an terminal illness. Does he reveal the devastating news to his wife or take the solution offered by his doctor? Get cloned but how far will he go in the name of love?

Cloning will never be a popular decision even when death is knocking on the door. The name of the film is allegorical saying, a final gesture before something ends like death. Your conscience will be in overdrive as there won’t be no perfect answer, just the correct one.

Set in the near future, “Swan Song” is a powerful, emotional journey told through the eyes of Cameron (Mahershala Ali), a loving husband and father diagnosed with a terminal illness who is presented with an alternative solution by his doctor (Glenn Close) to shield his family from grief. As Cam grapples with whether or not to alter his family’s fate, he learns more about life and love than he ever imagined. “Swan Song” explores how far we will go, and how much we’re willing to sacrifice, to make a happier life for the people we love.

The film also stars Glenn Close, Awkwafina and Adam Beach.

Swan Song will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on 17th December.
