Hulu have released the first official trailer for the much anticipated series Pam & Tommy starring Lily James and Sebastian Stan.
We’ve been teased with images of James and Stan as our controversial couple Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee. Anderson will always be known for her various TV and roles especially Baywatch, Lee is the drummer for metal band Mötley Crüe. Both were never angels during their prime with Anderson seem to be posing in endless images of her skimpy if not virtually nothing. As for Lee, Mötley Crüe were the wild boys of 90’s rock and metal used to live to the motto of sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll.
This 8 part series is directed by Craig Gillespie (Cruella, I-Tonya)and will focus and their relationship in the 1990’s. Ironically the pair only married 96 hours after they first met and was certainly a whirlwind affair which the pair had 2 children, only to divorce in 1998. The scandal all kicked off all thanks to that sex tape which they they taped on their honeymoon. That video was ‘leaked’ or ‘stolen’ and turned into the biggest lawsuit of that decade.
The pair sued the company (Internet Entertainment Group.) who released the tape as one of their releases. A settlement was settled. The pair weren’t involved in this series makes you wonder how fictional it will be.
The series also stars Seth Rogen, Nick Offerman, Taylor Schilling, Andrew Dice Clay, Pepi Sonuga, Spencer Granese, Mozhan Marnò.
Pam & Tommy will be released on Hulu in USA on2nd February 2022. As for the UK or Ireland we don’t know the details on what channel and when. However Hulu is owned by Disney, so there is a great chance Disney+ will release it.
