This morning HBO shared the news that HBO Max is heading to Europe (not UK) on 26th October, one of those shows they will enjoy is House Of The Dragon.

Just as we were about to share that trailer with you, here in the UK and Ireland SKY have just released the UK version for the Game Of Thrones prequel/Spin-Off. 200 hundred years before the fall of the throne, a dynasty reigned.

The series is based on George R.R. Martin‘s books taking us to the distant parts of the world which see the start of the linage that Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) was part of. The land of the dragon and the history of the Targaryen family two centuries before the events of the original series.

Centuries before the events of A Game of Thrones, House Targaryen—the only family of dragonlords to survive the Doom of Valyria—took up residence on Dragonstone. The cast also includes Emma D’Arcy (Rhaenyra Targaryen), Eve Best (Rhaenys Velaryon) Paddy Considine (Viserys Targaryen), Olivia Cooke (Alicent Hightower), David Horovitch (Grand Maester Mellos), Jefferson Hall (Lord Jason Lannister), Fabien Frankel (Criston Cole), Matthew Needham (Larys Strong), Bill Paterson (Lord Lyman Beesbury), Sonoya Mizuno (Mysaria), and Steve Toussaint (Lord Corlys Velaryon).

House Of The Dragon is set for release on Sky (Atlantic) from 2022 and the same for those in HBO Max regions.
