The Matrix Resurrections Featurette Looks At Franchise Legacy

Today the Matrix Trilogy is released on Digital and 4K Ultra HD. What better way to set yourself up for The Matrix Resurrections catching up with original films.

Tonight Warner Bros Pictures have released a 4 minute Featurette that will look at the legacy of The Matrix. The cast of the new film chat about their experience on the film and the impact it’s had on the genre. Going back to when the likes of Keanu Reeves and Carrie Anne Moss first started, they knew they where onto something special.

The big burning question will be , are the fans ready for a fourth film? The actual synopsis is being kept a big secret, roll on December!

From visionary filmmaker Lana Wachowski comes “The Matrix Resurrections,” the long-awaited fourth film in the groundbreaking franchise that redefined a genre. The new film reunites original stars Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss in the iconic roles they made famous, Neo and Trinity.

The cast includes Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Christina Ricci, Toby Onwumere, Max Riemelt, and Eréndira Ibarra. It’s not all newcomers to the cast Jada Pinkett Smith (Niobe), Lambert Wilson (The Merovingian), and Daniel Bernhardt (Agent Johnson) all welcomed back.

The Matrix Resurrections will arrive in UK and Irish as well as U.S cinemas from 22nd December.
