In UK Trailer For Old Henry Tim Blake Nelson Is The Reluctant Gunslinger

Signature Entertainment have released the UK Trailer for upcoming Western Old Henry. Tim Blake Nelson stars as the reluctant gunslinger who can’t seem to bury his past.

The recently premiered in the ‘Out Of Competition’ strand at Venice Film Festival earlier this month. Nelson stars as a widowed farmer who lives with his son, who crosses paths with an mysterious injured man. That man is carrying a bag full of money  and they decide to take him back to their home. When a pose claiming to be the law  come to their farm demanding the money who should they trust?

Tim Blake Nelson is one of those great character actors who rarely get a lead role and Westerns are perfect vehicles for his type of acting.  Same can be said about characters who have a hidden past, probably a red sign for those, don’t mess with them!

A brooding, twisty and classically-executed western, featuring outstanding performances from Tim Blake Nelson (O Brother, Where Art Though?) and Stephen Dorff (Blade).

Old Henry follows A widowed farmer and his son who warily take in a mysterious, injured man with a satchel of cash soon live to regret their decision as wild-west chaos descends on their sleepy farmhouse. When a posse of men claiming to be the law come for the money, the farmer must decide who to trust. Defending against a siege of his homestead, he reveals a talent for gunslinging that surprises everyone, calling his identity into question.

The film also stars Stephen Dorff, Trace Adkins, Gavin Lewis, Richard Speight Jr., and Scott Haze.

Old Henry  will be released in the UK and Ireland on Digital Platforms 8th November
