Forecasting the future might be seen as a novelty to some, In Apple TV+ upcoming sci-fi series Isaac Asimov‘s Foundation, the future is grim. Today Apple have released a third possibly final Trailer that showcases the empire is dying.
It’s not just new films that found their release dates delayed thanks to Covid-19. David S.Goyer‘s 10 part series based the influential book has seen it’s launch delayed. Now we’re just over 4 weeks from the release we cannot wait to see this series as this is looking even more better than previous trailers.
The Empire’s fate lays in the hands of Dr. Hari Seldon (Jared Harris). All thanks to his psychohistory study which forecasts everything, including the death of the Empire. Four crucial individuals transcending space and time as they overcome the pending doom. Shifting loyalties, and complicated relationships will ultimately determine the fate of humanity.
It’s astonishing to think Asimov and his influence over the sci-fi genre his books are rarely adapted. If delivered correctly, the world building potential for this series is unbelievable. Ambitious, and visually enticing…
When revolutionary Dr. Hari Seldon predicts the impending fall of the Empire, he and a band of loyal followers venture to the far reaches of the galaxy to establish The Foundation in an attempt to rebuild and preserve the future of civilization. Enraged by Hari’s claims, the ruling Cleons — a long line of emperor clones — fear their grasp on the galaxy may be weakening as they’re forced to reckon with the potential reality of losing their legacy forever.
The series also stars Lee Pace, Lou Llobell, Leah Harvey, Laura Birn, Terrence Mann, Cassian Bilton and Alfred Enoch.
Foundation will debut globally on Apple TV+ from 24th September with the first three episodes, followed by one new episode weekly, every Friday.
