Sshh! A Quiet Place Part II Tops The Official Film Chart!

After several weeks that talking rabbit Peter hopping mad at the summit of the Official Film Chart, the chart has a new lodger. Sshh! A Quiet Place Part II debuts at Number 1 thanks to digital downloads only. The sequel to 2018’s Oscar-nominated A Quiet Place defeats competition from fellow new entry Cruella (2) and last week’s chart topper Peter Rabbit 2 (3).

Based after the events of the first film, the grieving Abbott family are forced to face the terrors of the outside world as they venture into the unknown, and realise that there is more than one threat lurking out in the open.

Part II’s success sends the original A Quiet Place to Number 12 – which peaked at Number 3 back in June following the sequel’s release in UK cinemas.
