Watch Frances McDormand ‘Deals With Typos’ In French Dispatch Clip

It’s been a great sigh of relief Cannes Film Festival has finally happened this year. A whole host of films delayed from last year has taken giant steps towards general release like The French Dispatch.

Wes Anderson‘s delayed film just made it’s world premiere at the festival and buzz from the early reviews is great. Of your a fan of Anderson those lucky critics are calling it his best work in a long time.  Searchlight pictures will be off course will be delighted so celebrate that news they have unveiled the film’s first clip.

The French Dispatch (aka The French Dispatch Of The Liberty, Kansas Evening Sun), is a New Yorker style magazine. Facing it’s final issue, the film will be based around three of the magazines stories and struggles to get those stories.

THE FRENCH DISPATCH is a love letter to journalists set in an outpost of an American newspaper in a fictional 20th-century French city and brings to life a collection of stories published in “The French Dispatch” magazine.

The cast is big and as always impressive and that cast also includes Benicio Del Toro, Tilda Swinton, Timothee Chalamet, Adrien Brody, Lea Seydoux, , Lyna Khoudri, Jeffrey Wright, Mathieu Amalric, Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, Liev Schreiber, Elisabeth Moss, Edward Norton, Willem Dafoe, Lois Smith , Stephen Park,Lois Smith. Also Tony Revolori, Saoirse Ronan, Christoph Waltz,Cecile De France, Guillaume Gallienne, Jason Schwartzman, Henry Winkler, Rupert Friend, Bob Balaban,Anjelica Huston and Hippolyte Girardot.

There’s no exact release announced by Searchlight Pictures for The French Dispatch apart from it will be released in the UK and Ireland in October.
