This is the moral dilemma Kelsey Grammer faces in The God Committee and today Signature Entertainment release the film’s UK Trailer. A dilemma that will haunt their conscience years later.
This film is directed by Austin Stack (The Runner) and focuses on a hospital committee who meet to determine what patients deserves a heart transplant to live and who doesn’t. Three patients are waiting for their decision and those doctors involved in the decision personal conflicts clash with ethical obligations.
This looks hard hitting medical drama that looks at the cost of human life. Looking at the horrible decisions the people we trust our lives on sometimes have to face. Off course it opens a Pandora’s Box of other reasons such as money and privatisation of the health service. A direction the current Conservative regime is taking us towards, capitalism puts a price tag on everything including your life.

Signature Entertainment will be releasing The God Committee on Digital Platforms from 19th July in the UK and Ireland.
