In Joe Bell Trailer Mark Wahlberg Walks Long Road Of Redemption

There’s something about Mark Wahlberg and serious dramas, it unearths a side many of us like to see more of. His next film might just deliver that in Joe Bell, Roadside Attractions release the film’s Official (U.S) Trailer.

Originally call Good Joe Bell, directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green which made it’s world premiere at Toronto Film Festival in 2020. It tells the story of a working class father who embarks on a solo walk across USA in a crusade in support of his gay son (Reid Miller) who was bullied.

It’s a film with a lot of heart and message of bullying, homophobia will not be tolerated.

Joe Bell is based on the powerful true story of a small town, working class father (Mark Wahlberg) who embarks on a solo walk across the United States to crusade against bullying after his gay teenage son, Jadin (Reid Miller) is tormented in high school. Joe makes his way along the breathtaking expanse heading from Oregon to New York City, delivering a simple message of tolerance from a father’s perspective, hoping to reach those who may be open to hearing it from someone like themselves. Confronting many hardships, Joe ultimately shows us all that you can make a difference if you just take it one step at a time.

The film also stars Connie Britton, Gary Sinise, Maxwell Jenkins, Morgan Lily.

We have no details of who will release Joe Bell in the UK & Ireland and when. In the U.S Roadside Attractions will release the film in select cinemas from 23rd July.
